"But Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man. "
Are actual lyrics better than half remembered ones? I think that’s how the America song goes. But, I digress, this blog post is an introduction to a special piece of equipment. Please welcome the Tin Man!!!
Constructed out of a surplus, never used, physiotherapy tub, by Bill and Dan at the local machine shop, Keith Berry and Sons Ltd.; this bad boy is stocked with 22 000 watts of pure wort-boiling power. It is a brewing machine (very literately).!!! We had it loaded with grain on Monday and it worked like a charm.
As a brew kettle, it is a riff of some who have come before – like brew-in-a-bag, the German Braumeister, or the Canadian Brewha. They do say imitation is the best form of flattery.
